Events

STEP hosts a variety of events, tours, and fundraisers each term with the main goal of educating and promoting renewable energy technologies to the student and Kitchener-Waterloo community.

We love to partake in community and non-profit events, recently (2010) which have included: UW Canada Day, Spark in Waterloo Park, On the Road to a G20 Speaking Tour, University of Toronto Sustainability Fair, as well as WPIRG's Free Car Day.

Recent educational events have included: our Earthship Tour, Erie Shores Wind Farm Tour, Green Movie Night, as well as the recent REEP tour. Often our events and fundraising team collaborates together and create great fundraisers where the proceeds go towards our various projects, including our term Sustainability Bash and our past R4 Fashion Show.
